It’s a fact that many productions now have found the need for Producers, Directors, Researchers, and AP’s to self shoot material alongside professional crew or indeed independently.  With the ever increasing amount of cameras available and the knowledge required to configure and operate that equipment it can be a daunting task.

This is where I can help.  If you need to learn how to set up your existing camera or indeed any new camera technology I can teach you at a pace that works for you.  Guiding you through shooting in ‘Log’ mode, exposing correctly, camera techniques, and how best to light an interview with the tools you have at hand. Or your team may just require a refresher course to give them the confidence to go out and shoot.

Many companies outside the broadcast environment are finding the need to shoot video for internal use, training, or marketing purposes.  Perhaps you need guidance on what equipment you should purchase or hire to do this work.  Or If you already have your own camera and sound kit I can come to your place of work and teach your staff how to get the best out of it.  That may be how to set up the camera, how to light a basic interview, what shot sizes are going to work, and the pitfalls to avoid.  This training can be bespoke produced to work with your staff and the environment they work in.
